LNJC-ANNOUNCE Mailing List
A mailing list has been setup for the congregation of Little Neck Jewish Center. The purpose of this list is send out announcements which will supplement the information on the web site, and the current telephone messages which all members receive. This list will be restricted to the LNJC membership. The e-mail addresses provided by members will not be made available for any other purpose, and will be hidden from other recipients of announcement mailings.
The name of the announcement mailing list is "lnjc-announce@lnjc.org". In order to subscribe to this list please follow the instructions below:
1) Send an E-Mail message to "lnjc-announce-subscribe@lnjc.org", your message will cause a response to be automatically generated, and sent back to you. The purpose of this is to prevent third parties from submitting subscription, or unsubscription, requests on your behalf.
2) You will receive the automatically generated message with the subject "Confirm subscribe to lnjc-announce@lnjc.org". You must reply to this message, as this will authenticate you to the ezmlm mailing list software. In the body of your reply you must include your actual name, disregarding the instructions to reply with an empty message. We need your name to enforce the restriction that only LNJC members may subscribe to the list.
3) After review by a list moderator (myself or LNJC office staff), of your subscription request, you may be added to the mailing list. When this occurs you will receive a message with the subject "WELCOME to lnjc-announce@lnjc.org". After receipt, of the welcome message, you will now receive any announcements posted to the list by the moderator.
4) To unsubscribe from the mailing list you may send an e-mail message to the unsubscribe address "lnjc-announce-unsubscribe@lnjc.org" and reply to the automatically generated message you receive in response.

LNJC-BOARD Mailing List
A second list has been created for use by the LNJC board of trustees. Subscriptions will be restricted to members of the Little Neck Jewish Center Board. The instructions for subscription are identical to those of lnjc-announce above with the difference that you must replace the word "announce" with "board". So the addresses which to be used in order to subscribe to the list are "lnjc-board-subscribe@lnjc.org", and for requests to be removed from the board list "lnjc-board-unsubscribe@lnjc.org" for requests to get off of the board mailing list.
